UP10TION's Bitto Tests Positive

TOP MEDIA, home to UP10TION, have confirmed that member Bitto has recently tested positive for COVID-19. This is notable as UP10TION are currently promoting their followup single Destiny including an appearance yesterday on SBS' Inkigayo. In response to the positive result, all future UP10TION schedules have been cancelled.

In response to the news, Inkigayo staff are reviewing CCTV footage to track the recent movements and interactions of UP10TION to identify individuals who may have come into contact with Bitto out of precaution. TOP MEDIA stated that all artists and staff who have interacted with Bitto will be tested for COVID-19.

[Update] UP10TION's Kogyeol Tests Positive

TOP MEDIA has shared that following COVID-19 testing yesterday, UP10TION's Kogyeol has tested positive for COVID-19. Some staff are still awaiting for their test results. UP10TION and their staff will go into self-quarantine.

All of SBS Inkigayo MCs including MONSTA X's Minhyuk , NCT's Jaehyun, and APRIL's Naeun will be undergoing COVID-19 testing as well.

IZ*ONE Kim Minju will undergo testing as well. HeraldPop originally reported her as an MC for SBS Inkigayo, however this is incorrect; she is an MC for MBC's Music Core. A representative for IZ*ONE have stated that this is out of precaution; not due to direct contact with Bitto.

FNC Entertainment has also shared that SF9's Chani will be tested. Chani is an MC for MBC's Show! Music Core.

SBS MTV's THE SHOW will be cancelling tomorrow's (December 1st) broadcast in accordance with safety protocols for artists and staff.

woo!ah have also cancelled their tomorrow appearance and recording of Arirang's Simply KPop!.
