BLACKPINK rumoured to make comeback in early 2020 - currently working on new music

On November 29th, News1 shared a report that BLACKPINK has been working on new music in secrecy with a comeback goal aimed for early 2020.

A representative for YG Entertainment shared BLACKPINK have been working on new music for a new album (t/n: no format specified) and are preparing to make their comeback with a goal set in mind for early 2020.

BLACKPINK made their comeback in April with "KILL THIS LOVE" breaking their own records made on the Billboard 200 chart. Lots of expectations are rising for what new successes BLACKPINK will achieve with the release of their new album.

BLACKPINK made their debut on August 8th in 2016 with double tracks "휘파람 (WHISTLE)" and "붐바야 (BOOMBAYAH)"sharing their charismatic styles. The group later followed up with hits like "불장난 (PLAYING WITH FIRE)", "STAY", "마지막처럼 (AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST)", "뚜두뚜두 (DDU-DU DDU-DU)", and "KILL THIS LOVE" that garnered worldwide attention.

On November 11th, BLACKPINK's "뚜두뚜두 (DDU-DU DDU-DU) earned 1 Billion views on YouTube, this achievement added another success for BLACKPINK as the group became the first K-Pop group to earn this achievement alongside their other viewership milestones.

In 2019, BLACKPINK began their US Music careers with the start of their North American tour, appearing at Coachella, and on various ABS, and CBS network programs.

BLACKPINK recently won "Best Music Video", "Favourite Group", and "Concert Tour" at the 2019 People's Choice Awards.

BLACKPINK currently has plans to their Japan Dome Tour beginning December 4th in Tokyo and ending on February 22nd at the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome.
