Published 1 month ago

IZ*ONE has once again made impressive sales with a Japanese release.

The project girl group released their third Japanese single 「Vampire」 on September 25th and within a week has sold over 205,000 copies!

This marks their third consecutive release selling over 200,000 copies in the first week, following 「Suki to Iwasetai」 and 「Buenos Aires」. IZ*ONE is only the second foreign artist to have at least two consecutive albums sell over 200,000 in the first week starting from a debut single, the first being TWICE. This number has now been updated to three consecutive albums. 「Vampire」 also lands in 8th place among highest first week album sales from K-pop girl groups.

This achievement follows the group landing #1 for rookie artist sales on Oricon for the 1st half of 2019.

IZ*ONE is expected to have continued success in Japan and is also rumored to have a comeback in Korea sometime before the end of the year.
